Water Landscaping
Water is the purest natural material known to man. the entire landscape of planet
earth survives because water gets circulates in a very strong and robust climatic
mechanism on earth by the process of evaporation and rainfalls for the entire year. Water can create some great looking landscapes in your landscaping garden in small scales as well.
Let's discuss some of the ways to use water in landscaping.

1) Ponds
Small ponds are easy to construct and create a great feature in any garden. Some
ponds have static water in them with tropical fish. May times it is necessary to add aquatic plants in the pond to sustain the ecological balance of the pond
system and for the benefit of the aquatic life.
2) Waterfalls
Small scale waterfalls can be erected using an arrangement of natural or artificial rocks. The sound of water falling from a height into the reservoir below is what makes the waterfall so
popular in landscaping. This sound no matter how loud, never causes a
disturbance.
3) Swimming pools
it is not always necessary to construct an Olympic sized swimming pool in your backyard. Even a pool which allows you to swim across a rectangular area for exercising purpose
can be a good idea. The maintenance of the swimming pool is always an important aspect from the budget point of view.
4) Water fountains
This is another type of water feature that works on the same principles of a water fall. However unlike a waterfall the water in a fountains falls in a much controlled manner and this balanced arrangement creates the beauty of the fountain. A water
curtain is another popular water fountain effect.
Indoor fountains come in all sorts of sizes and types such as wall mounted, table fountains, free standing fountains.

5) Water canals
Small scale water canals can be circulated in your backyard for creating some great effect. Your kids if love playing the toy boats in them.
