1) Ponds

it is not always necessary to construct an Olympic sized swimming pool in your backyard. Even a pool which allows you to swim across a rectangular area for exercising purpose can be a good idea. The maintenance of the swimming pool is always an important aspect from the budget point of view.

4) Water fountains

This is another type of water feature that works on the same principles of a water fall. However unlike a waterfall the water in a fountains falls in a much controlled manner and this balanced arrangement creates the beauty of the fountain. A water curtain is another popular water fountain effect.
