As said earlier apart from using it for compound a wall can also be used as a partition in a garden. Such kind of partitions are necessary sometimes for privacy purposes. For example
medium height walls can be erected to hide the changing area of the swimming pool in your backyard.
Low height walls can also be used as seating arrangement in your backyard. Such kind of small seating spaces are great if you happen to throw a small family gathering in your garden
Another area where walls are used is in hillside
landscaping. Here retaining walls constructed out of stone play a major role in holding the pressure of soil on top courses so that plants can survive and grow healthy.
2) Their construction material
Most commonly you will find walls constructed or bricks or stones. With brick walls you can be very creative,
because it is the easiest way to build a wall.
Apart from these two categories there is one more area in landscaping walls where you can use
simple creative ideas to make a big difference. What you can do is change the shape
of the wall in plan and create niche areas to accommodate beautiful flowerbeds. So the sane straight wall becomes a great
