Landscaping Artificial Turf
With the emergence of modern technology
the use artificial synthetic turf has widely been accepted as a possible solution for residential as well as commercial lawn surfaces. Since it is being used
in large sports arenas and commercial arena there must be some great benefits behind their use.
Some of it's advantages are
1) It's artificial, so doesn't requite watering an no mowing at all.
2) It's Ok if your pets roll on them
3) drains water quickly that real lawn
4) Not to worry about diseases and maintenance. Fit it and forget it.

Because of these and more advantages many people are turning their gardens into an
artificial turf.
It is quite obvious that no artificial material will ever give the quality of the natural lawn. But in order to keep the natural
lawn healthy there is a lot of hard work. Also to keep a lawn lush green and healthy you will have to change the
maintenance practices as the season changes. If the care is not taken properly a natural
lawn can create hard patches in between, that give a bad look even after so much hard work.
Then there is a problem of dog owners complaining about their dog abusing the lawn surface after such a hard work. Also maintaining a natural lawn is not free. It requires enough watering, lawn mowing, fertilizers, and constant attention. Many people prefer a lawn
maintenance contractor for these jobs. But again it's never free.
on the other hand with an artificial turf you pay a one time fee for installation and you are done for at least 10 years. (depending upon what quality you install)
If you are thinking of landscaping with artificial turf in your garden, I would recommend first visit some place where such kind of turf is already fitted. Have a feel of the turf with bear feet. Feel the touch and then make any decisions about it.
